Your camera works so well in that building. All the ones that dad got with his camera, when the flash was on, had dust spots. The ones without the flash are too blurry to see clearly.

Ouch! That’s no fun. I’ve done things similar to that except it usually involves the grill in some way…like stepping barefoot on a live coal.

Heh…that was a very painful experience and yet sooo funny at the same time. In a moment of complete absentmindedness I lifted the red-hot lid off a pan. And very quickly dropped it again after my entire hand had a shock spasm. I spent the next ten minutes with my three singed fingers under the faucet and as Galena related, she shortly joined me .

I had just a moment before handed the mitt to Galena when I turned from the sink and saw her lift the _very_ hot lid with her bare hand just as I had done. My (too late) verbal warning and her hand’s own shock spasm and the next 5 sec. found us with both of our left hands under the sink in a midst of giggles at our stupidity and ows because of our pain.

Three hours later the nerves in my blistered finger-tips are still screaming. Even though I kept my left hand in ice water the entire time I was playing through the top part of a Beethoven movement. Ouch. Typing probably isn’t making them any better…;)

Chels: No, you’re free of guilt – we’re always like this (or at least I am).

Josiah: Sort of… I changed it in August.

Rebekah: Thanks. Mine didn’t touch it too long so I’m fine. Lydia’s burns will probably last a little longer.
