About Me

I am a teenage young woman who is being slowly reformed and sanctified in life by the grace and work of Christ Jesus, my Savior. My greatest desire is to please my heavenly Father in all that I think, say and do.

Theologically, I would define myself as being from a reformed, Calvinist, viewpoint.   I’m part of a wonderful family of twelve people.  We live in the beautiful Northwest where it rains 1/3-1/2 of the time and is absolutely gorgeous the rest of it.  In my opinion, it’s the best place to live: hands down!  I enjoy and love reading, history, cooking, running, cycling, hikes, my family, children, friends, learning, language, adventure, housework, quilting, sewing, exercise… pretty much everything except animals – those I tolerate.

Academically, I’m currently pursuing an Associate of Home Health Care through the Telos Institute. Although that takes up a lot of time and is really interesting and educational, I hardly count it as the defining point of my life right now.   Instead I’ve come to recognize that the most important things in life are the relationships between people, thus, I’m seeking to spend time developing those in my life. I consider this more important than anything else and although it takes time, it’s far from wasted – at least I don’t consider it so.
