Update
I know… all my blog post titles are so original. Seriously though, I consider the fact that I even update once a month to be commendable. If nothing else, it just means that I’m so busy “living” life that I don’t have time to write about it. (Although, actually, I journal regularly – you know, the book kind.)
Anyway, 2011 came before I was even aware that it was upon me. From reading other people who update more frequently than I do, I know it wasn’t just me that thought 2010 was barely here before it was gone again!
My parents and I are still figuring out what my focus is going to be this year (hey! It’s still January – it’s not too late!) so although I have ideas of what I’ll be working on, I can’t reveal anything definite yet. I tentatively will try and do an update when I do know, however.
So that being said, I’ll say that I am so looking forward to sunny, warm weather! Sorry to all you snow-people, but sun is so much better! It’s a little funny because I used to love the rain and stormy weather and although I still like it, when I started cycling: the sun became even more attractive than before. And to tell the truth, after riding rollers for 2+ months, I’m looking forward to spending more time on the road then in our garage. As far as our plans for cycling, well, Lydia, Karl and I plan on doing at least one century ride this year and unless plans change at least one of those will be the RACC (Ride around Clark County) on May 7th. So, we’re riding every non-rainy day that we can (which right now doesn’t seem to be too many!)
However, honestly, that’s only a small facet of my life right now but it’s also almost the only one that I can state with any definitiveness. So, I’ll go back to praying and planning and update ya’ll when I know more!
